President Garvey welcomed all members of the Steering Committee and Working Groups. Provost Andrew Abela and Vice President Mike Allen introduced the program and discussed the progress of the University and the role of Self-Study for continous self-improvement. Vice Provost Duilia de Mello gave an overview of the process of re-accreditation, the Design Template, and the timeline. Working Group Chairs gave brief overviews of their charges and members discussed how they will organize their next meetings. Meeting was productive and lunch was excellent.
